# WeChat employee responds to the slow gray-scale rollout of biometric recognition on HarmonyOS

> The official version 1.0.6.41 of WeChat for HarmonyOS has been updated this month, adding support for viewing received notes. According to feedback, the facial/fingerprint payment feature of the WeChat HarmonyOS App is undergoing a larger-scale gray testing, with some users already supporting biometric payments. Currently, some users have reported that they have not received the gray testing for the facial/fingerprint payment feature. WeChat employee @KeCunXiaoJiang responded: "The payment feature has high security requirements, so the rollout is cautious. Please be patient."
