Sanfu Technology plans to invest 620 million yuan to build a key material industrialization project for high-safety dry electrode batteries and high-frequency electronic information composite materials

According to the announcement from Sanfu Technology (688359.SH), in order to promote the industrialization and commercialization of high-safety materials for solid-state/semi-solid lithium batteries and high-frequency electronic information composite materials, and to enhance the company's business influence and comprehensive competitiveness, the company plans to use its subsidiaries Jiangxi Bangyue New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangxi Bangyue") and Bangxiang (Jiangxi) New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangxi Bangxiang") as the project implementation entities to construct a key material industrialization project for high-safety dry electrode batteries and high-frequency electronic information composite materials in the Electronic Information Industry Technology City of Longnan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Longnan City, Jiangxi Province. The total investment is expected to be RMB 620 million (the final investment amount will be based on the actual investment in project construction). The project is expected to start construction in June 2025 and complete the investment project construction by the end of 2027. The project plans to rent factory buildings and a comprehensive office building in the Electronic Information Industry Technology City of Longnan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiangxi Province, mainly for the construction of lithium battery material production workshops, high-frequency electronic information composite material production workshops, raw material warehouses, finished product warehouses, and R&D testing buildings, etc. After the project is fully operational, it will form an annual production capacity of key materials for manufacturing 5GWh high-safety dry electrode batteries and 4.7 million square meters of high-frequency electronic information composite materials. This project is a strategic industrial extension of the company based on its years of accumulated core processes and technological advantages in the field of surface engineering equipment and specialized chemicals, moving into the downstream high-end material manufacturing sector. Once the project is completed and reaches production capacity, it will help accelerate the industrialization process of solid-state/semi-solid batteries, build a key material system for high-safety lithium batteries, and meet the domestic substitution demand for high-end composite materials in the downstream market. By improving the industrial chain layout, the company will enhance its product supply capacity and market share, fully leverage the synergy between material R&D and equipment manufacturing, effectively strengthen the company's market influence and comprehensive competitiveness, and continuously consolidate and enhance its leading position in the domestic new materials industry.
