# Genew: Plans to cancel 1.0554 million repurchased shares

Genew announced that the company plans to adjust the use of 1,055,400 repurchased shares stored in the special securities account for repurchase, changing from "used for employee stock ownership plans or equity incentives" to "used for cancellation and corresponding reduction of registered capital." After the cancellation of the repurchased shares is completed, the company's total share capital will decrease from 194 million shares to 193 million shares, and the registered capital will decrease from 194 million yuan to 193 million yuan. The company completed the share repurchase on June 13, 2022, having actually repurchased 1,055,400 shares, accounting for 0.5451% of the company's total share capital of 194 million shares, which are stored in the company's special securities account for repurchase.
