# The carbon fiber market is recovering. Industry insiders: demand for certain models has surged, but the overall industry still faces an oversupply

The carbon fiber market has seen a rebound this year, and Jilin Fibre has raised the prices of its carbon fiber products twice. A company representative stated that since March, orders have been continuously increasing, and production is unable to keep up, prompting administrative staff to assist in production in batches. Liu Guangtao, general manager of Texas Carbon Fiber Composite Materials Co., Ltd., also noted that after the Spring Festival, the company's carbon fiber product orders increased by 15% year-on-year, leading to a shortage of production line workers. However, several industry insiders have indicated that while certain carbon fiber models used in drones have seen explosive demand this year, most models, especially large tow carbon fiber products, are still in oversupply, with prices still seeking a bottom. The overall pattern of oversupply in the industry has not changed, and related enterprises need to explore more application scenarios and strive for a transition to high-end products
