# May 26th Midday Review: The ChiNext Index fell 1.28% in half a day, with pharmaceutical and medical stocks collectively adjusting

The market experienced fluctuations and adjustments in the morning, with the ChiNext Index falling over 1%. The concept of controllable nuclear fusion was repeatedly active, with SNOWMAN GROUP, Baile Electric, and Rongfa Nuclear Power hitting the daily limit. The IP economy concept stocks strengthened again, with Yuanwanggu and YOOZOO hitting the daily limit. On the downside, pharmaceutical and medical stocks collectively adjusted, with Haichen Pharmaceutical and Keyuan Pharmaceutical falling over 10%. Most individual stocks declined, with over 2,700 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the red, and a total transaction volume of 659.4 billion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.3%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.71%, and the ChiNext Index fell 1.28%
