# Luoxin Pharmaceutical: Ibuprofen Injection Concentrate Solution Obtains Drug Registration Certificate

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Luoxin Pharmaceutical (002793.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Shandong Luoxin Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. has received the Drug Registration Certificate for Ibuprofen Injection Concentrate Solution issued by the National Medical Products Administration.

The announcement shows that ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects, and is an effective inhibitor of prostaglandin (PG) synthesis. After pathogens and their toxins invade the human body, they produce and release endogenous pyrogens, leading to increased synthesis and release of PG in the central nervous system. PG is a class of highly bioactive substances involved in various physiological and pathological processes such as fever, pain, inflammation, thrombosis, and allergies. NSAIDs can inhibit the activity of cyclooxygenase (COX), which is necessary for the synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby blocking the synthesis of PG to exert their pharmacological effects
