# The airline industry ETF rose over 3.9%, leading the U.S. stock industry ETFs along with the semiconductor ETF, while the S&P Consumer Discretionary sector increased by over 3%

> On Tuesday (May 27), the global airline industry ETF rose by 3.92%, the semiconductor ETF rose by 3.17%, and the consumer discretionary ETF rose by 2.95%. The technology sector ETF, regional banks ETF, banking sector ETF, and global technology stock index ETF all rose by at least 2.22%, while the utilities ETF performed the worst, rising only by 0.87%. Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500, the consumer discretionary sector rose by 3.04%, the information technology/technology sector rose by 2.55%, and the telecommunications sector rose by 2.14%

On Tuesday (May 27), the global airline industry ETF rose by 3.92%, the semiconductor ETF increased by 3.17%, the consumer discretionary ETF climbed by 2.95%, and the technology sector ETF, regional bank ETF, banking sector ETF, and global technology stock index ETF all rose by at least 2.22%, while the utilities ETF had the worst performance with a gain of 0.87%.
