Additionally, 157 billion yuan of reverse repos are maturing, resulting in a net injection of 58.5 billion yuan for the day. The central parity rate of the yuan against the US dollar is reported at 7.1894, down 18 points. The three major A-share indices showed a lackluster performance in the morning session. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 2 points or 0.07% to close at 3,342 points, with a turnover of 250.3 billion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index fell 3 points or 0.04% to close at 10,025 points, with a turnover of 402.05 billion yuan; the ChiNext Index rose less than 1 point to close at 1,992 points, with a turnover of 176.9 billion yuan.
