# CEN PLAZA HOTEL issues a profit warning, expecting an annual after-tax profit of no less than HKD 7 million, turning a profit compared to the same period last year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CEN PLAZA HOTEL (08315) announced that the group expects to achieve a turnaround from a post-tax loss to a post-tax profit for the year ending March 31, 2025. The expected post-tax profit will not be less than HKD 7 million, while the loss for the year ending March 31, 2024, is approximately HKD 20.5 million.

The increase in post-tax profit for the year ending March 31, 2025, is mainly due to the company's (i) sale of several loss-making subsidiaries; and (ii) entering into a waiver memorandum with the holders of the acceptance notes, under which all liabilities and obligations related to the unpaid principal and related interest of the acceptance notes are released
