According to media reports, four home furnishing brands, Gujia, Oppein, Yishili, and Yuanchuan, in the Gujia Home New Tang store in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, have "exploded." The involved stores lured consumers to make payments with "national subsidies," but the orders ultimately failed to be delivered. Regarding this "explosion" incident, customer service staff from Gujia Home stated that the business dispute involving the dealer Lin Rongjun falls under individual business risk, and the brand and the dealer are independent legal entities in a cooperative relationship, not a subordinate relationship. Regarding the issue of consumer prepayments, customer service stated that since the contract entity is the dealer, the brand cannot monitor the flow of funds. "Currently, the New Tang government has formed a special task force in conjunction with relevant departments, and our company has also established a special task force for the Guangdong retail division to respond promptly to consumer issues and maintain communication with consumers to assist government units in handling the situation. For after-sales issues related to products that have already arrived, the company will also actively address and follow up," the customer service representative stated
