# PPF: Plans to invest 50 million yuan in Wuhan Gelanruo Intelligent Robot Company

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, PPF (300258.SZ) announced that with the breakthrough development of technologies such as artificial intelligence, bionics, and general equipment, the humanoid robot industry is moving from the laboratory to large-scale commercial use, becoming a new high ground in global technological competition. In order to layout the core supply chain of humanoid robots, seize the high ground of future industries, and achieve technological synergy and business upgrades, the company plans to use its own funds of RMB 50 million to participate in the Series A financing of Wuhan Gelanruo Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd. (“target company”), holding 10% of the equity of the target company.

It is reported that the target company was established by Wuhan Gelanruo Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (“Gelanruo Precision”) through a company continuation and division method, inheriting the original intelligent robot business, assets, and personnel of Gelanruo Precision. Before the company division, based on the patented technology of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the target company had already conducted research and development in the fields of quadruped robots, humanoid robots, and other intelligent robots, forming products
