# Quick Review of the U.S. May ADP Report

In May, the ADP employment number in the United States increased by 37,000, hitting a two-year low and falling short of the expected value of 114,000. The previous value was revised from 62,000 to 60,000. The data shows that the hiring pace of U.S. companies has slowed to its lowest level in two years, indicating weakened hiring demand.
