On June 4th, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo revealed during a Senate committee hearing that she anticipates the analysis of tariffs on aircraft parts will be completed by the end of this month, along with the determination of relevant tariff standards. Raimondo told senators, "We will discuss this with the President. We will discuss the analysis results and fully consider the next steps." During Raimondo's speech, Boeing's stock price, which had initially fallen 1.1% in early trading on Wednesday, further narrowed its losses, at one point dropping by less than 0.1%. After Raimondo's remarks, Delta Air Lines experienced fluctuations upward in early trading, and by the end of the morning session, the gains for both Alaska Airlines and United Airlines had expanded to over 1%, while Southwest Airlines had briefly turned positive.
