On Thursday (June 15), the South African FTSE/JSE Africa Leading 40 Index closed up 0.93% at 87,990.25 points, setting a new closing historical high after one trading day. Component stock Naspers (NPN.SJ) rose 2.99%, Prosus (PRX) increased by 2.85% to rank second, Harmony Gold Mining (HAR) rose 2.41% to rank fourth, Glencore (GLN) increased by 2.29%, Gold Fields (GFI) rose 1.44%, Anheuser-Busch InBev (ANH) increased by 1.27%, Impala Platinum Holdings (IMP) rose 1.25% to rank ninth, while Shoprite Holdings (SHP) fell 1.57% to rank third in decline, Valterra Platinum fell 2.13%, and Sibanye Stillwater fell 4.10%
