# SMIC plans to sell 14.832% of its equity in SMIC Ningbo to GOKE

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SMIC (00981) announced that on June 5, 2025, its wholly-owned subsidiary SMIC Holdings and other shareholders of SMIC Ningbo signed the "Agreement on Issuing Shares and Paying Cash to Purchase Assets" with GOKE. GOKE intends to acquire 94.366% of the equity of SMIC Ningbo through the issuance of shares and cash payment, which includes the 14.832% equity held by SMIC Holdings in SMIC Ningbo.

After the transaction is completed, SMIC Holdings will no longer hold any equity in SMIC Ningbo.

The announcement stated that this transaction is beneficial for the company to focus on its main business
