# Elon Musk: Dojo 2 will be launched later this year

Elon Musk stated that the Tesla Dojo AI training computer is making progress. We will launch Dojo 2 later this year. A new technology needs to go through three major iterations to achieve excellence. Dojo 2 is already good, but Dojo 3 will definitely be even better.
