# Canopus's subsidiary Dongxing Biotechnology signed a technology development (entrustment) contract with Shanghai Jiao Tong University

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Dongxing Medical (301290.SZ) announced that to further deepen the company's industrial layout, its controlling subsidiary Dongxing Biology has signed a "Technology Development (Entrustment) Contract" with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, with a total contract amount of 6 million yuan. Through this collaboration between the university and the enterprise, the complementary resources of the company and higher education institutions will be fully utilized to promote the industrialization of scientific research achievements, enrich the company's product modules, and enhance the company's core competitiveness.

The main development content includes: Shanghai Jiao Tong University is responsible for constructing optimized engineering strains for biosynthetic truncated (short-chain) recombinant type III humanized collagen, establishing scientific and feasible methods and systems for strain screening and refolding; completing the development of pilot fermentation processes and large-scale fermentation processes; after delivering the completion report, assisting Dongxing Biology in applying for invention patents
