# SIE plans to invest 330 million yuan to build the SIE Global R&D Center

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SIE (300687.SZ) announced that in order to meet the company's future sustainable development needs, further enhance its continuous research and development innovation capabilities and core competitiveness, and attract and stabilize outstanding research talents, the company plans to invest approximately 330 million yuan to build the SIE Global R&D Center, with an expected construction period of 30 months. The company's board of directors has authorized the management team to handle the relevant procedures for this investment project, including but not limited to negotiating and signing construction contracts, obtaining property certificates, and appropriately adjusting the investment progress and amount based on the actual progress of the project.

This investment to build the SIE Global R&D Center will support the research and development operations of the SIE Industrial Digital Research Institute and the Industrial Internet platform, as well as product R&D based on the IPD system, and aims to establish a postdoctoral research workstation and an Industrial Internet Innovation Center. This investment aligns with the company's main business development strategy, and once the project is completed, it will further expand the company's R&D team size, enhance its R&D strength and efficiency, and effectively improve the company's overall competitiveness and risk resistance capability
