# China Hongqiao: HONTRON's acquisition of Hongtuo Industrial has been approved by the shareholders' meeting

Zhitong Finance APP news, China Hongqiao (01378) announced that Hongtron plans to issue new shares to the existing shareholders of Hongtuo Industrial (including Weiqiao Aluminum & Electricity) to purchase the target shares held by them and related transaction documents.

As one of the prerequisites for this transaction, the shareholders of Hongtron approved this transaction at the shareholders' meeting held on June 9, 2025
