# KHPG's subsidiary Songling Xuemai Kang capsules approved for clinical trials

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, KHPG (002773.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Chengdu KHPG Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "KHPG Pharmaceutical") has received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration for Songling Xuemai Kang capsules, which allows the clinical trial for the treatment of functional ventricular premature beats.

Songling Xuemai Kang capsules are an exclusive product of the company and are the first traditional Chinese medicine in China that uses fresh pine needles for lowering blood pressure and lipids. It has been approved for the functional indications of "soothing the liver and subduing yang, calming the heart and soothing the mind. It is used for headaches, dizziness, irritability, palpitations, and insomnia caused by excessive liver yang; hypertension and primary hyperlipidemia with the above symptoms." The approval of this additional clinical trial application for functional indications will help further enhance the product's core competitiveness
