# A passenger plane in the United States skidded off the runway during landing

> A JetBlue Airways flight slid off the runway while landing at Boston Logan International Airport, coming to a stop on the grass, which temporarily halted takeoffs and landings at the airport. The incident did not result in any injuries, and the Federal Aviation Administration has initiated an investigation. Passengers disembarked via the stairs and were then transported to the terminal by shuttle bus. JetBlue Airways stated that it will cooperate with the investigation to determine the cause of the incident

On June 12th local time, a Jetblue Airways flight slid off the runway after arriving at Boston's Logan International Airport from Chicago, ultimately stopping on the grass, which led to a temporary suspension of aircraft takeoffs and landings at the airport. It is reported that the incident did not result in any injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration stated that Jetblue Airways Flight 312, an Airbus A220, arrived at Boston Logan International Airport from Chicago O'Hare International Airport at 11:55 AM that day and slid onto the grass while taxiing off the runway. The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident. The airport arranged for passengers to disembark via the stairs and then transported them to the terminal by shuttle bus. Jetblue Airways stated in a statement that it will cooperate fully with the Federal Aviation Administration and other relevant departments to investigate the incident and determine the cause
