On June 11, the Civil Aviation Administration held a full meeting of the June Safety Committee in Beijing to analyze the recent safety operation situation and the summer transportation safety and to deploy the next steps for safety work. CAAC Director Song Zhiyong emphasized the need to carry out thorough hidden danger investigations and rectifications to ensure flight operation safety. It is essential to actively and prudently manage lithium battery risks, pay attention to the impact of recent high temperatures and humid weather on air cargo transportation, and strictly regulate the daily operations of personnel; further strengthen the safety operation supervision of foreign airlines, ensure precise supervision, key reminders, and service guarantees; continuously enhance maintenance management, further solidify and detail project management, quality management, and on-site management to improve aircraft reliability; continuously enhance the capabilities of air traffic control teams, optimize work style, and implement safety responsibilities; strictly implement general aviation safety supervision measures, firmly establish a safety development concept, ensure the qualifications of key personnel and the airworthiness of aircraft, and guarantee the healthy development of the low-altitude economy under the premise of safety
