# EFT SOLUTIONS expects an annual net profit after tax of approximately HKD 5.6 million

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, EFT SOLUTIONS (08062) announced that the group expects to achieve a net profit after tax of approximately HKD 5.6 million for the year ending March 31, 2025, while for the year ending March 31, 2024, it expects to achieve a net profit after tax of approximately HKD 31.6 million.

The board of directors believes that the expected changes are mainly due to the combined effects of the following factors: (i) the revenue and gross profit from the sale of electronic payment terminals and related equipment, as well as the provision of system support and software solution services, have decreased due to economic downturn and intense competition; (ii) impairment losses on goodwill related to the business in Macau, China; (iii) increased employee costs
