# TIANYU PHARM: The active pharmaceutical ingredient of Irbesartan (Process II) has obtained the CEP certificate

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, TIANYU PHARM (300702.SZ) announced that the company has received the Certificate of Suitability for European Pharmacopoeia (CEP) issued by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and HealthCare (EDQM) for the active pharmaceutical ingredient of Irbesartan (Process II).

Irbesartan is an antihypertensive medication used for the treatment of primary hypertension and for the treatment of hypertension in patients with type 2 diabetes and nephropathy. The company submitted the drug registration application for Irbesartan (Process II) to EDQM in December 2024 and obtained the CEP certificate
