# Transfar Zhilian signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with Petronas

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Transfar Zhilian (002010.SZ) announced that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Strategic Cooperation with Petronas, the national oil company of Malaysia, to establish a cooperative relationship. Both parties will explore the potential for joint ventures in China and Penang to build production facilities for the production and sale of polybutadiene rubber (including nickel-based and neodymium-based polybutadiene rubber) to serve the Southeast Asian region and global markets; explore any other potential areas of cooperation between the two parties, not limited to the scope specified above.

It is reported that both parties will focus on in-depth cooperation in the field of new materials such as polybutadiene rubber, through capacity synergy, resource sharing, and channel integration, to jointly develop the Southeast Asian and global markets. This cooperation will optimize the company's global supply chain layout and enhance its competitiveness in international markets
