# Xingqi Pharmaceutical: The first subject has been enrolled in the Phase III clinical trial of Lidocaine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Gel

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Xingqi Pharmaceutical (300573.SZ) announced that the first subject has been enrolled today in the "Evaluation of the Efficacy and Safety of Lidocaine Hydrochloride Eye Gel for Ocular Surface Anesthesia: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Positive Drug Parallel Control, Placebo Parallel Control, Multi-Center Clinical Trial," officially entering Phase III clinical trials.

It is reported that Lidocaine Hydrochloride is an amide local anesthetic widely used for infiltration anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, surface anesthesia, and nerve conduction blockade. Lidocaine Hydrochloride eye gel can extend the contact time of the drug with the ocular surface, improving the anesthetic effect
