In Chicago, Equity Commonwealth disclosed the transfer of its assets and liabilities to EQC Liquidating Trust as part of the Plan of Sale and Dissolution approved by shareholders on November 12, 2024. The newly-established Maryland common law trust will benefit the common shareholders of the Company. This transfer took effect on June 13, 2025, known as the Effective Date.
