# MEDINET GROUP issues a profit warning, expecting an annual pre-tax profit of no more than HKD 8.1 million

According to the announcement from MEDINET GROUP (08161), the group expects to achieve a pre-tax profit of no more than HKD 8.1 million for the year ending March 31, 2025, while it incurred a pre-tax loss of approximately HKD 8 million for the year ending March 31, 2024. The improvement is mainly due to the gain of approximately HKD 12.8 million from the sale of a subsidiary after considering the fair value of the costs, as well as effective implementation of cost control measures that significantly reduced the costs of medical and dental supplies by approximately HKD 3.5 million
