# Yonz's subsidiary plans to invest 1.31 billion yuan to construct the Baotou energy storage power station project

According to the announcement from Yonz (603381.SH), its subsidiary Yonz Power (Baotou) Co., Ltd. plans to invest in the construction of the Baotou energy storage power station project, with a total investment amount of approximately 1.31 billion yuan.

The announcement shows that the main construction content of the Baotou energy storage power station project includes a 300,000 kW/1.8 million kWh new energy storage power station and supporting facilities such as a 220kV booster station. The project is located north of National Highway 110 in Ulanji San Village and Ulanji Er Village in the Buerhantu Town of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and falls within the site selection range of the Baotou Buerhantu 1.5 million kW/9 million kWh grid-side energy storage project. The project is near the Buerhantu 500kV substation, covering an area of approximately 193 acres, and is expected to start construction in June 2025, with completion and grid connection by December 31, 2025, for a total construction period of 7 months. The project has a total rated power of 300,000 kW, using a cluster management string-type lithium iron phosphate battery system, integrating liquid cooling temperature control, perfluorohexane fire protection, and intelligent BMS, with 40\*5MW/30MWh energy storage units connected to the park's 500KV collection station via a 220KV line and then connected to the Buerhantu 500KV substation.

The announcement states that this investment in the construction of a 300,000 kW/1.8 million kWh grid-side independent energy storage demonstration project is beneficial for the company to expand into the downstream application layer of the photovoltaic industry chain, promoting the integrated development of its main business with power station system integration
