# Amazon's autonomous vehicle startup Zoox begins ramping up production of driverless taxis

Amazon's autonomous vehicle startup Zoox is ramping up production of driverless taxis, with plans to launch its first commercialization program in Las Vegas, USA.

Zoox has opened a mass production factory in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This factory will help Zoox expand its fleet of autonomous taxis, with an eventual annual production capacity of 10,000 vehicles once fully operational.
