# AEC GROUP released its annual performance, with a loss attributable to shareholders of HKD 9.578 million

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, AEC GROUP (08320) announced its annual performance for the year ending March 31, 2025, with revenue of HKD 47.583 million, a year-on-year decrease of 8.5%; the loss attributable to owners of the company was HKD 9.578 million, compared to a profit of HKD 561,000 in the same period last year; basic loss per share was HKD 1.34.

The performance turned from profit to loss during the period, mainly due to (i) a decline in average charges for new contracts awarded this year and project plan delays caused by the current market atmosphere, leading to a decrease in revenue and gross profit margin; (ii) increased employee costs to retain talent; (iii) an increase in impairment provisions for other receivables; (iv) development expenses for overseas business expansion
