# The semiconductor industry ETF fell nearly 0.9%, leading the decline among U.S. stock industry ETFs, while the S&P telecommunications sector dropped over 1.8%

> On Friday (June 20), the semiconductor industry ETF fell by 0.88%, leading the decline among U.S. stock industry ETFs. In the S&P 500 index, the telecommunications sector had the largest drop, reaching 1.83%. Alphabet - A and Alphabet - C fell by 3.85% and 3.59%, respectively, while Meta dropped by 1.93%. Other technology-related ETFs also generally declined, with only the energy sector ETF rising by 1.02%

On Friday (June 20), the semiconductor industry ETF fell by 0.88%, the internet stock index ETF dropped by 0.83%, the global technology stock index ETF decreased by 0.48%, the technology industry ETF declined by 0.44%, while the consumer discretionary ETF rose by 0.12%, the banking ETF increased by 0.62%, the regional bank ETF went up by 0.76%, and the energy sector ETF gained 1.02%.

Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index, the telecommunications sector fell by 1.83—Alphabet - A dropped by 3.85%, the worst performer, Alphabet - C decreased by 3.59%, Meta fell by 1.93%, the information technology/technology sector declined by 0.26%, the consumer discretionary sector decreased by 0.2%, while the energy sector rose by 1.05%
