The company has established a film studio and plans to launch the animated series "LABUBU and Friends," and may produce a movie. According to Zhitong Finance APP, POP MART (09992) rose over 3% in the afternoon, as of the time of writing, up 3.01% to HKD 246.8, with a trading volume of HKD 5.113 billion.

In terms of news, it has been reported that POP MART has officially established a film studio and will launch the animated series "LABUBU and Friends," with plans for a movie in the future. The Ai Qicha App shows that the company registered the copyright for the first season script V1 of the animated series "LABUBU and Friends" this year, with the work category being text. The registration date is March 18, 2025, and the completion date of the work is January 15, 2025.

JP Morgan's research report pointed out that POP MART has recently been placed on the positive catalyst watch list for several reasons: (1) it may release a profit warning in mid-July (JP Morgan predicts a profit of RMB 3.5 billion in the first half of 2025, exceeding the total for 2024); (2) the upcoming "Labubu & Friends" animation (copyright registered in June, possibly in conjunction with new product launches); (3) the launch of Labubu x Uniqlo T-shirts in August; (4) the two newly opened "POPOP" jewelry stores will sell more Labubu products, along with other IP products like SkullPanda, Molly, and Dimoo; (5) the potential launch of interactive/AI toys (the company has not disclosed this yet; recently, major online markets have seen counterfeit "Lafufu" products that can talk/sing/walk/dance)
