# SPM's subsidiary plans to participate in the establishment of an investment fund

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, Southern Media (601900.SH) has announced that Guangxi Cultural Industry Investment Development Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) is managed by Guangdong Bay Area Venture Capital Co., Ltd. as the fund manager, with the company's subsidiary Nanchuan Investment and Guangxi Cultural Investment as limited partners of the fund. The fund size is 500 million yuan, with Nanchuan Investment committing 149.9 million yuan.

Investment is the main business of Nanchuan Investment, thus conducting capital operations is an objective necessity for its development and business expansion. To promote "Four New Leading, Four Wheels Driving," and to advance the integrated development of "Culture + Technology," the fund aims to reinvest in the main business, enhance investment empowerment, moderately increase investment returns, and improve capital operation efficiency. In the context of traditional cultural overcapacity and insufficient supply of emerging formats, this fund is jointly established by all parties under conditions of relatively controllable risks and a high safety factor
