# Lummy's generic drug Mabalosavir tablets have obtained ethical approval

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Lummy (300006.SZ) announced that recently, the generic drug Mabalosavir tablets (specification: 20mg), developed by an external organization, has passed the approval of the Ethics Review Committee for Drug/Medical Device Clinical Trials of Yueyang People's Hospital and obtained the ethical approval, officially entering the BE (Bioequivalence) trial stage.

Mabalosavir is used for the treatment of influenza and is a cap-dependent endonuclease inhibitor that suppresses the initiation of mRNA synthesis. Mabalosavir has the following unique advantages: ① Unique mechanism of action: it can block the transcription initiation phase of viral genes, acting early in influenza; ② Mabalosavir only requires a single dose to effectively suppress the influenza virus within 24 hours, shorten the infectious period, and significantly reduce the duration of influenza symptoms, with a short treatment course greatly improving patient compliance; ③ Mabalosavir remains effective for patients resistant to Oseltamivir
