# SHUN TAK HOLD plans to provide financial support to a joint venture company

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SHUN TAK HOLD (00242) announced that on June 26, 2025, the board of directors resolved that the company may provide financial assistance to the joint venture group as the beneficiary (through APIL), including (if required by the bank) providing corporate guarantees and/or cash assistance, with a total amount of up to HKD 400 million. In this regard, it is expected that the company will provide a guarantee letter to the bank, under which the company will guarantee the borrower's payment obligations for accrued and unpaid interest (but not principal) due under the financing agreement. Any cash assistance provided by the group (if any) will be in the form of unsecured shareholder loans with no fixed repayment period
