Since 2004, Hong Kong Airlines has operated A300-600F freighters for DHL International Express, cumulatively transporting nearly 3 million tons of cargo. Cathay Group plans to introduce over 100 new-generation aircraft for Cathay Pacific and other subsidiaries in the coming years Cathay Pacific Group announced that its wholly-owned cargo airline, Hong Kong Air Cargo, has successfully completed its fleet renewal plan. The company recently received its last advanced A330F freighter, while the final A300-600F freighter has been retired, marking Hong Kong Air Cargo's full transformation into an Airbus A330F freighter operator. Hong Kong Air Cargo first operated the A300-600F freighter in 2004 on behalf of its major client, DHL Express, and this model has served both parties for 21 years. The A300-600F fleet has cumulatively transported nearly 3 million tons of express cargo over the years. With the completion of the fleet renewal plan, Hong Kong Air Cargo currently operates 14 A330F freighters, consisting of 10 A330-300P2F and 4 A330-200F freighters. The A330-300P2F is a freighter converted from a passenger aircraft, and Hong Kong Air Cargo is one of the first and currently the largest operators of this model globally.
