# Optimistic about Chinese assets! Foreign institutions focus on researching technology innovation enterprises

Morgan Stanley has raised its economic growth forecast for China, while LPL Financial expects the technology and new consumption sectors to continue leading the market

According to Wind data, since June, foreign institutions have intensively researched nearly 100 A-share listed companies, with companies on the ChiNext and STAR Market receiving more attention from foreign investors, particularly in sectors such as electronics, integrated circuits, high-end manufacturing, and innovative pharmaceuticals. As the first half of 2025 approaches its end, several foreign institutions, including Swiss Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley, have expressed optimism about structural opportunities in the Chinese market. Among them, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and consumption sectors have become hot topics for foreign institutions. For example, Morgan Stanley raised its expectations for China's economic growth and stock index targets in its mid-year outlook. Chen Dong, Chief Strategist and Head of Research for Credit Suisse Wealth Management Asia, stated that the artificial intelligence-related fields in the Chinese market continue to attract attention, and biotechnology has also made breakthrough progress, maintaining a positive outlook on the technology sector. Invesco stated that technology fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous control, and innovative pharmaceuticals, as well as new consumption sectors, are expected to continue leading the market
