# BENG SOON MACH appoints Liang Youwen as Chief Independent Non-Executive Director

According to the announcement from BENG SOON MACH (01987), starting from June 30, 2025: (i) the board of directors has appointed independent non-executive director Liang Youwen as the Chief Independent Non-Executive Director, effective from June 30, 2025. The Chief Independent Non-Executive Director is not an executive position within the company and does not hold any management role within the group. Liang Youwen will maintain his other positions on the board and related board committees. (ii) The board has appointed Tang Ling Ling as a new member of the company's nomination committee, effective from June 30, 2025
