# Sito Bio's subsidiary has obtained the CEP certificate for Mometasone Furoate API

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Sito Bio (300583.SZ) announced that its controlling subsidiary Shandong Sray Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Sray Pharmaceutical") recently received the Certificate of Suitability to the European Pharmacopoeia (referred to as "CEP Certificate") issued by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM). The chemical raw material name is MOMETASONE FUROATE.

Mometasone furoate has strong anti-inflammatory effects and can be used in inhalants and topical skin medications. When used as an inhalant, it can be combined with β2-adrenergic agonists and/or long-acting acetylcholine receptor antagonists, primarily for the treatment of asthma; when used as a topical medication, it can treat eczema, neurodermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and skin pruritus
