# He Xiaopeng calls out to Tesla Model Y: XPeng G7 has a comprehensive space advantage

He emphasized that the XPeng G7 is an AI smart home SUV designed for young families, aiming to redefine the standards of mid-to-large SUVs

At today's launch event for the XPeng G7, XPeng Motors Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng delivered a speech. He stated that the mid-to-large market in the 200,000 to 300,000 yuan range has been very lively in the first half of the year, with the king of the segment, the Model Y, also challenging others to "come and compete." With the launch of the XPeng G7, He Xiaopeng declared, "We have arrived," emphasizing that they aim to redefine the new standards for family mid-to-large SUVs with greater space, more comfort, stronger technology, and enhanced safety. He mentioned that the XPeng G7 meets the dual needs of more young families, balancing technological fun and the happiness of home as an AI smart family SUV. He also compared the various space parameters of the XPeng G7 with those of the Tesla Model Y, claiming that the XPeng G7 leads in overall space, except for the front trunk
