Sichuan: Cultivate more than 10 high-growth innovative enterprises by 2027

The Sichuan Provincial Government Office recently issued the "Implementation Plan for Developing and Expanding Emerging Industries and Accelerating the Cultivation of Future Industries." The plan proposes that by 2027, the province's emerging industries will develop in chain clusters, cultivating more than 30 industry-leading enterprises with national influence, and creating 5 industrial clusters worth over 100 billion yuan and 10 clusters worth over 50 billion yuan. Future industry innovation will achieve breakthroughs, cultivating more than 10 high-growth innovative enterprises, producing a number of significant innovative achievements and landmark products, with initial industrialization capabilities formed. The plan specifies 23 key breakthrough directions, including 15 emerging industry fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, integrated circuits, new displays, biomedicine, nuclear medicine, commercial aerospace, new aviation, low-altitude economy, hydrogen energy, new energy storage, laser equipment, additive manufacturing, biological agriculture, and advanced materials; and 8 future industry fields including sixth-generation mobile communication, quantum technology, metaverse, frontier biotechnology, brain science and brain-computer interfaces, controllable nuclear fusion, ultra-high-speed rail transit, and deep earth science
