> Xiaomi Auto stated in a Q&A on July 5th that the entire YU7 series battery pack has undergone multiple enhancements in safety protection, with hardcore physical protection upgraded to 16 layers or more. Specific measures include: the addition of a 1500MPa strength anti-scratch bottom beam at the front of the chassis, creating a triple defense line to enhance the safety of the battery pack. An anti-scratch bottom structure has been added to the front edge of the battery pack, which can effectively absorb energy; the bottom is coated with a bulletproof layer to reduce damage to the battery pack from scratches

On the evening of July 5th, Xiaomi Automobile stated in the latest Q&A session with netizens that the Xiaomi YU7's entire battery pack has implemented multiple safety measures, with hardcore physical protection upgraded to 16 layers or more. Xiaomi Automobile introduced: "For example, in terms of bottom protection, we have built a triple defense line. First, we added a scratch-resistant bottom beam with a strength of 1500MPa at the front of the chassis, which can withstand the impact of road debris during driving, providing the first line of defense for the battery pack; secondly, we added a scratch-resistant bottom structure at the front edge of the battery pack, which can effectively absorb energy in the event of a collision while driving, forming the second line of defense for the battery pack; at the same time, the bottom of the Xiaomi YU7's battery pack has also been upgraded to use the same "bulletproof coating" as the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, which effectively absorbs impact energy when the vehicle's bottom encounters scratches, greatly reducing damage to the battery pack from bottom scratches, thus constructing a third solid line of defense for the battery pack."
