# NIO's Li Bin: The Shenji NX9031 chip is open to the entire industry

On the morning of July 6th, renowned financial writer Wu Xiaobo led nearly a hundred entrepreneurs to visit Nio's Advanced Manufacturing New Bridge Plant No. 2 in Hefei. During the visit, Nio's founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin introduced the Shenqi NX9031 chip. He stated that the design goals for this chip are, first, to support the most advanced algorithms over a 10-year period and adapt to the latest algorithms; second, to meet the highest safety standards, being the world's first automotive-grade 5-nanometer chip that can support low latency and rapid response; and third, to efficiently process image data under various extreme weather and lighting conditions.
