July 8th Midday Review: The ChiNext Index rose over 2% in half a day, with photovoltaic concept stocks collectively surging

The market experienced a morning surge, with the Shanghai Composite Index approaching the 3,500-point mark and the ChiNext Index rising over 2%. Solar energy concept stocks collectively exploded, with Tongwei Co., Ltd., Oujing Technology, and TOPRAYSOLAR among several stocks hitting the daily limit. The PCB and other computing hardware sectors continued to strengthen, with Yihau New Materials, Derun Electronics, and Jin'an Guoji also reaching the daily limit. The innovative drug concept maintained its strong momentum, with Medicilon, JOINN, and JLPC hitting the daily limit. Most individual stocks rose, with over 3,500 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the green, and a total transaction volume of 884.6 billion in the morning session.
