# LKPC: Gefitinib tablets and gefitinib raw materials have been approved separately

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, LKPC (600789.SH) announced that it recently received the "Drug Registration Certificate" (Certificate No.: 2025S02063) for Gefitinib tablets and the "Approval Notice for the Market Application of Chemical Raw Materials" (Notice No.: 2025YS00544) for Gefitinib raw materials issued by the National Medical Products Administration.

It is reported that Gefitinib is an epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI), belonging to the first generation of targeted drugs. It is a targeted therapy for non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR gene mutations, which inhibits tumor growth, metastasis, and angiogenesis by blocking the activity of EGFR-TK, thereby increasing the apoptosis of tumor cells. Gefitinib plays an important role in the treatment of patients with EGFR mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer. This drug is indicated for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have sensitive mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene
