# XPeng: Nearly 5 billion yuan invested in AI-related initiatives in one year

> XPeng Chairman He Xiaopeng revealed that the company’s investment in AI-related fields this year is close to 5 billion yuan, mainly for AI large model training. He stated that the visual language behavior large model currently under development will significantly enhance the vehicle's driving capabilities, with the L3 software expected to greatly outperform and surpass all autonomous driving systems in the industry by 10 to 20 times by the end of this year or next year. At the same time, XPeng will continue to collaborate with chip companies such as NVIDIA

According to domestic media reports, XPeng-W (09898.HK) Chairman He Xiaopeng recently revealed at a public event that the company has invested nearly 20,000 cards this year for AI large model training, with annual AI-related investments approaching 5 billion yuan. He stated that XPeng is focusing on developing a visual language behavior large model, which enhances vehicle driving capabilities through massive data training; it is expected that by the end of this year or next year, the L3 software will significantly outperform and basically exceed all autonomous driving systems in the industry by 10 to 20 times. He Xiaopeng also mentioned that they will continue to collaborate with NVIDIA and other chip companies
