# XINMING CHINA: The shortfall in the subscription for the rights issue is 62.26 million shares

According to the announcement from XINMING CHINA (02699), as of the record date, a total of 75,144,900 shares have been offered under the rights issue (offered shares); and two overseas shareholders hold a total of 518,400 shares. The board of directors announced that by the final deadline for accepting the rights shares on July 8, 2025 (Tuesday) at 4:00 PM, a total of 8 valid acceptances have been received, involving a total of 12,884,900 rights shares, accounting for approximately 17.15% of the total offered shares. Therefore, the shortfall in the rights subscription is 62,260,000 rights shares, accounting for approximately 82.85% of the total offered shares, and these shares will be handled according to the compensation arrangement
