# UNIVERSE ENT issued a profit warning, expecting an annual loss to increase to approximately HKD 57 million - 67 million

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, UNIVERSE ENT (01046) announced that the group expects to incur a loss of approximately HKD 57 million to HKD 67 million for the year ending June 30, 2025, compared to a loss of approximately HKD 31.2 million for the same period in 2024.

The announcement stated that the expected increase in losses is mainly due to a decrease in revenue/expected revenue from film copyrights, films in production, and related deposits, resulting in an increase of approximately HKD 46.9 million in impairment losses for film copyrights, films in production, and related deposits for the current year
