# ST DFSS: Actual controller Xu Xiong was sentenced to six years and six months in prison for the crime of manipulating the securities market and fined 170 million yuan

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, ST Dongshi (603377.SH) announced that the company recently received a first-instance "Criminal Judgment" issued by the Shanghai First Intermediate People's Court to its actual controller, Mr. Xu Xiong. Mr. Xu was sentenced to six years and six months in prison for allegedly manipulating the securities market, and was fined RMB 170 million. This judgment is a first-instance ruling and has not yet taken effect. If Mr. Xu appeals within the statutory period, the final judgment and subsequent execution results remain uncertain.

Mr. Xu Xiong, the actual controller of the company, no longer holds the positions of director, supervisor, or senior management personnel in the company. The aforementioned judgment is a personal act of Mr. Xu and will not affect his shareholder rights or the normal business operations of the company. Currently, the company's production and operational activities are normal, and the management team is stable
